The Book List
For When You Just Need Something Between Sessions
I get asked all the time:
“Do you have any book recommendations?”
Yes. Yes, I do. And no, they’re not all about healing your inner child (though, yeah... a few of them are).
Below you'll find a list of books that I’ve personally read and actually found useful—either in my own therapy journey, with clients, or just navigating the chaos of being a woman with a human nervous system in a world that often forgets we're not machines.
Some are science-y (but digestible).
Some are “woo” (but grounded).
Some are for ADHD brains (but maybe try listening to it).
Some are just damn validating.
A few things to know:
I only recommend what I’ve found actually helps—with anxiety, self-trust, understanding your nervous system, unlearning perfectionism, and dealing with your 3 a.m. existential dread.
Oh—and I use affiliate links. That means if you grab a book from one of the links, I get a tiny kickback (like, half a latte). It’s no extra cost to you and helps me keep doing what I do—like creating free content about your subconscious, dream symbols, and why you're crying when you're not “supposed to.”
